Electricity Industry Introduction Pack
This course is designed to provide foundation knowledge and skills to generate confidence as graduates enter the electricity suppy industry.
Trainees will identify electricity structures and equipment and how to work in the electricity supply environment in a safe and effective manner. Importantly, the format of the course is specifically designed so that, when combined with suitable on-site consolidation of training, it will strengthen the learning by applying whats been learnt in the classroom to their workplace. Trainees will be meeting their legal requirements for employee competence in the electricity suppy industry.
Course content is based around PPE requirements, identifying electricity systems and the use of a safety harness.
Our training methodology
Wire and Fitness Ltd has a flexible mix of a face-to-face training, open learning and blended learning, and for certain courses, trainees can choose a suitable delivery method whilst easily switching or combining learning modes. All Electrical Training is offered both midweek and weekends (by special request) to minimise work disruptions, down time and loss of profit while training. We provide training courses nationwide throughout New Zealand.
