EWRB Safety Training

You must complete safety training within three months of getting your Limited Certificate or before applying for a Provisional License. This applies to both trainees and overseas applicants.

This training is designed to prepare you to keep safe in the workplace.

The Safety Training course for electrical workers who do low-voltage work covers the content included in the following unit standards:

  • Safe Working practices = either 29465 or 30658 or alternatively 32605 AND 32607
  • Testing for safety = either 15852 or 30657 or alternatively 32605 AND 32607
  • First Aid and CPR = 6401 and 6402

The Safety Training course for electrical workers who do high-voltage work covers the content included in the following unit standards:

  • Safe Working practices and Testing = 28020 and 18038 and 10507
  • First Aid and CPR = 6401 and 6402

Applicants must hold a current First Aid Certificate or provide evidence of an upcoming booking to obtain one.
