There are 16 classes of registration for electrical worker roles. Each has different training and registration requirements to entitle you to become a licensed electrical worker.

Powerco Courses

These courses cover Powerco specific information and safe working practices that supplement and support the safe working practices detailed in Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SM-EI) parts 1, 2 and 3 inclusive, and associated Electricity Engineers Association (EEA) guides. The information and work practices concern access to work and working on lines and equipment on Powerco’s High Voltage (HV) Electricity Networks.
