Do you have a practical aptitude, an interest in electricity, would rather meet your Test and Tag requirements yourself without paying an electrical contractor?

We can help. Attend our 1-day course and learn about AS/NZS 3760 which states you must be a ‘Competent Person’ and all the testing requirements to meet the standard. ‘In-service testing is a necessary part of any safety program to help ensure the safety of persons using electrical equipment in the workplace’. Our presentation is interactive and will answer all your questions - you get hands on practical training with a supplied Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) or your own. The assessment process includes theory and practical testing.

Be instructed by a NZ Registered Electrician to know you are getting the best training and ensuring you are competent to perform Test and Tagging of appliances found in the office and industry.

Our training methodology

Wire and Fitness Ltd has a flexible mix of a face-to-face training, open learning and blended learning, and for certain courses, trainees can choose a suitable delivery method whilst easily switching or combining learning modes. This progressive approach ensures the electrical industry has a constantly growing pool of trained and qualified tradespeople.  Our trainers are some of the most experienced & knowledgeable instructors in the industry, and we pride ourselves on our ability to provide tradesmen with the necessary skills and training they need to progress in their chosen careers.

All Electrical Training is offered both midweek and weekends (by special request) to minimise work disruptions, down time and loss of profit while training. We provide training courses nationwide throughout New Zealand.
